We are looking for an Orthotics Technician at Ottobock Care in Stockholm About Us Ottobock Care is one of Sweden's largest orthotics operations with clinics in 20 locations throughout Sweden, and together with Ottobock we are one of the world's leading suppliers in orthotics. We treat patients through referrals as well as private individuals in need of prosthetics, orthotics, and orthopedic shoes or insoles. Ottobock Care in Stockholm is located in Bergshamra, Södertälje, Norrtälje, Dalens Hospital, and Danderyd Hospital. We have approximately 65 employees with different competencies. Ottobock Care currently has an agreement with Region Stockholm to provide complete orthotics services and rehabilitation for amputees. We work with all types of orthotics devices, and the work is conducted in close collaboration with healthcare through, among other things, team cooperation. About the Position With us, you work together with your colleagues to improve quality of life for people with functional limitations by enhancing their mobility and independence. Your contribution will be to manufacture devices as part of a production team. We work with all types of orthotics devices such as custom-made orthotics and prosthetics. The foundation of our operations is our collaboration with other healthcare personnel and specialist teams. What We Offer This is a full-time position based in Bergshamra. Start date is immediate. About You We are looking for someone with practical experience in manufacturing custom-adapted devices within orthotics or experience with prepreg, lamination, and thermoplastics in other industries. You master Swedish and have good computer skills. You are sociable and in collaboration with others you contribute with knowledge and experience while being attentive and respectful and looking out for the group's best interests. In addition to being social and able to collaborate, you have a strong ability to plan, organize, and structure your work while meeting deadlines. You can turn ideas into practical action. You are proactive and perform your work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks, driving your own processes, and ensuring they are completed. You are solution-oriented and when a problem arises, you focus your energy on finding solutions and maintain your focus on the goal.
