Senior Project Manager for Digital Development in Healthcare and Social Services

1 position(s). Social Services is embarking on a comprehensive digital development journey where modern operational support tools are essential to meet future needs. The implementation of a new operational system is a strategic initiative designed to improve quality, efficiency, and user-friendliness for both employees and residents. Working together with operational representatives, specialists, and vendors, you will help create sustainable long-term solutions that strengthen Social Services' mission. Your Responsibilities You will be responsible for complex projects from planning through implementation and launch, with accountability for achieving the project's goals, timeline, budget, and quality. You play a central role in creating engagement and participation, and you are responsible for driving projects forward in a structured and solution-oriented manner. For your first project, you will oversee the procurement, transition, and implementation of a new operational system to support and develop Social Services' operations in elder care and functional support. You will drive and coordinate the entire procurement process, lead the transition to the new system, and ensure that operational needs are addressed throughout the transformation journey. The role involves close collaboration with operations, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders, as well as responsibility for managing risks, monitoring project progress, and leading change and implementation initiatives. You will develop and maintain project and implementation plans, and ensure that activities and deliverables are clearly defined. All to ensure that operational needs, processes, and work methods are integrated into the implementation. You will also coordinate and lead training, information, and change initiatives for managers, employees, and other affected stakeholders. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with an academic or post-secondary education in, for example, systems science, healthcare and social services, social sciences, public administration, or project management. We want you to have strong experience leading change or digitalization projects in complex organizations. You have experience with procurement, project methodology, and operational development, and are experienced at coordinating multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional project teams. Your ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, is essential for managing this responsibility. It is an advantage if you have completed leadership training or have experience from the public sector or operational systems within the welfare sector. You thrive in complex project environments where many stakeholders and perspectives need to be coordinated. As a leader, you are structured, goal-oriented, and solution-focused, and can prioritize and make decisions.
