About the Position: As a traveling service technician, you will perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs of Aebi-Schmidt machinery at customer sites and, to some extent, in the workshop. Your work will be coordinated by a service coordinator, but you will be responsible for executing assignments efficiently and to high standards. The position involves travel across most of Sweden and, in some cases, internationally. Overnight stays are required during certain periods. Your responsibilities include: Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs in electrical, hydraulic, and some pneumatic systems Work both at customer sites (approximately 40–80%) and in the workshop Handle multiple assignments per day or longer jobs (1–3 days) Carry out practical tasks such as welding, adjustments, calibration, and software updates Read and work according to technical documentation and manuals Maintain ongoing communication with customers before, during, and after work Document work daily (time, materials, actions taken) Manage spare parts and materials during assignments Responsible for service vehicle, tools, and equipment Book your own travel and accommodations according to company policy You work independently but always have support from technical support, both locally and within the corporation. We are Looking for Someone Who: Has vehicle technical training with further qualification (e.g., from an authorized dealership workshop) or training in forestry/agriculture Has experience with advanced troubleshooting and service Has basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems Can read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics Has good IT skills and is comfortable with digital reporting Speaks and writes fluent Swedish or English Holds a Class B driver's license Is able to travel and stay overnight for work It is a plus if you have: Experience with pneumatic systems Certification in hot work, crane operation, or fall protection Workshop experience (drilling, lathe work, milling) Electrical or high-voltage training SSG certification Knowledge of German As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and comfortable working independently. You have good communication skills and build trust in customer interactions. You are organized in your work and have a drive to develop long-term within the role.
