Your Assignment As one of two regional managers (second-level manager) within home care services, you hold overall responsibility for 12 operations. You lead work within your region through operational managers (first-level managers) whom you coordinate, support, and coach in their managerial roles. You work very closely with your colleague regional manager and play an important role as a member of the shared elder care management group. With support from other department functions, you are responsible for ensuring long-term sound operations and finances. You contribute to innovative working methods to be an attractive employer and continuously improve quality within the operation. Your assignment includes: • leading and developing work within your region through your operational managers, whom you support and coach in their managerial roles • taking responsibility for your region's results both qualitatively and financially • creating good conditions for participation by users and employees in developing the operation In the department's management group, you benefit from and receive support from experienced colleagues. Your Background We are looking for someone with several years of management experience in care and social services, preferably from home care operations. You have a higher education degree in an area that the employer deems relevant for the position. Leadership training is meritorious. You have good knowledge of the legislation in this area of operations, are experienced in working with relevant digital systems, and communicate well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Experience leading managers and an interest in digitalization and operations development are seen as advantages. As a leader, you are confident, organized, and have the ability to create engagement and participation in the organization. You have a strategic and comprehensive perspective and can analyze the consequences of decisions both short and long term. Furthermore, you remain calm and composed even in complex situations and have the ability to prioritize and focus on what creates the greatest value for the operation. You have good collaboration skills, build trusting relationships, and promote open and constructive cooperation both within your own organization and with external parties.
