Main job duties: • provide clients with information about their rights and opportunities to receive services from the Social Rehabilitation Services Center in Ogre, the procedure for receiving them, and the benefits of the services; • collect anamnesis (medical history) and compile information about the client's functional status to plan further speech-language pathology assessment and therapy; • apply diagnostic methods and techniques for identifying the client's communication, speech, language, and other disorders; • assess the client's communication abilities, speech, language, hearing, voice, and other defined disorders; • formulate, prepare, and issue a speech-language pathologist's assessment and establish therapy goals; • plan the therapy process, select and apply appropriate therapy methods and techniques; • implement the therapy process using various therapy methods; • create individual methodological materials; • motivate the client and their relatives to actively participate in the therapy process and conduct preventive measures; • develop a rehabilitation program for the client to perform independently and monitor, and train the client in its application; • consult with clients and recommend therapy, correction, and prevention programs, and alternative technology options; • use information technologies for professional speech-language pathology activities, etc. Requirements for applicants: • second level higher education in healthcare with a certificate in the specialty; • registration in the Healthcare Professionals Register; • ability to select and systematically apply scientifically based, purposeful, and appropriate assessment methods based on professional knowledge and skills; • ability to plan and implement the therapy process based on the issued speech-language pathologist's assessment; • ability to document activities while complying with document management requirements; • ability to work in a team; • excellent Latvian language proficiency; • ability to independently plan and organize your work.
