About the Position The Acute Care Unit (AVA) is in an exciting development phase with a clear mandate in highly specialized acute care. We care for patients with acute deterioration of vital functions or unclear conditions requiring investigation, stabilization, monitoring, and treatment. At AVA we provide advanced acute care including treatment such as non-invasive ventilation (NIV), high-flow oxygen therapy (High Flow), blood gas analysis, telemetry monitoring, and frequent NEWS2 assessments. During day and evening shifts, a charge nurse leads daily operations and is also present during daytime on weekends.
