Geriatrics at Stockholms Sjukhem is one of the largest geriatric clinics in the region with over 370 employees and over 7,000 patient visits per year. The department offers acute geriatric care and rehabilitation with 24-hour admission and also operates a cognitive clinic. Your role as a registered nurse In collaboration with nursing assistants, physicians, and paramedical professionals, you are responsible for performing both basic and specialized nursing care, preventing risks, and managing acute situations. In your work, you meet general geriatric patients with various diagnoses such as fractures, stroke, and/or infections. You will always have close support from your colleagues and manager, but the nature of the work requires you to make your own decisions and act independently when the situation demands it, as you as a registered nurse lead the work on the unit. Requirements for the position are that you are a licensed registered nurse, preferably with experience in healthcare and ideally geriatric care, and have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
