Punch and Laser Operator at Alpab in Brandstorp
Job Description Randstad is now recruiting a punch and laser operator for immediate needs at our customer Alpab in Brandstorp. Do you have experience from the sheet metal industry, an interest in technology, and enjoy working in a smaller team where your contribution really makes a difference? Then this role might be perfect for you! The position is full-time with daytime working hours – and shortened workdays on Fridays. The assignment begins as a consultant employment through Randstad with the clear objective to transition into a permanent position at Alpab. About the Role In this role, you will work with the entire workflow around punch and laser machines – from programming, operation, and drawing reading to adjustment and optimization of machine programs. Your daily tasks also include material handling and forklift operation as well as ongoing quality control of manufactured parts. Since the customer strives for continuous improvement, you are also expected to actively contribute to improvements in both production and daily work methods. Alpab is a smaller operation with a strong team spirit, which means you are an important part of the entire production workflow and are expected to be flexible and help where needed. About You To fit this role, we see that you have a background in the sheet metal industry or manufacturing and are motivated by practical, technical craftsmanship. You have a good understanding of the entire manufacturing chain, preferably have experience with CNC-controlled machines, and are comfortable reading drawings and technical documentation. You hold a forklift license A1–A4 and speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. Your technical interest means you enjoy understanding how things work and constantly see opportunities for improvement. You work carefully and never compromise on quality.
