About the job As a driver for us, you are responsible for collecting food waste, residual waste, and packaging in Hjo, Tibro, Karlsborg, and Töreboda municipalities and ensuring it is done in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. You work independently on your routes and play an important role in daily contact with both subscribers and customers. You are responsible for ensuring that work follows our procedures and contributes to a well-functioning operation with high quality and good service. In this role, you will, among other things: Work with collection of food waste, residual waste, and packaging using rear-loading vehicles. Operate and handle sanitation vehicles safely. Manage the vehicle computer and report any deviations. Have daily contact with subscribers and, if needed, answer questions related to collection. Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after driving. Take responsibility for ongoing vehicle maintenance, such as external and internal washing and rinsing of compartments. Work according to our procedures for safety, quality, and the environment. About you We are looking for someone who is responsible, thorough, and enjoys working independently. You plan and prioritize your work in a structured way and can make your own decisions when circumstances change. Because you represent REMONDIS and meet subscribers and other people in the field, you are service-oriented, professional, and have good communication skills with different people. The work can sometimes be intense, and you therefore need to be able to remain calm, prioritize, and find solutions even when things don't go according to plan. Above all, you share our view on safety and understand the importance of working safely. Qualifications Class C driver's license. Valid waste management certification. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious Experience working as a driver. Experience in sanitation, waste management, or similar operations. Experience working with vehicle computers or similar digital systems.
