As principal of the primary school, you are part of the primary school's leadership group, which is led by the operations manager. The group consists of five principals and three assistant principals. The group contributes to the organization's overall success by sharing perspectives, knowledge, and experiences. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As principal, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop Baggeboskolan with a focus on quality, equity, and safety. You have overall responsibility for operational results, finances, and work environment. You will exercise pedagogical leadership at individual and group levels with a clear focus on student learning development. Working with staff to focus on teaching quality, safety, and conducive learning environment are important parts of the principal role. Another central aspect involves developing student wellness efforts to ensure all students have the conditions to succeed, regardless of background and circumstances. Your responsibilities include leading the school according to national and local governing documents, goals, and directives. You organize and develop the school unit's systematic quality work and analyze and follow up on operational results in relation to teaching quality, organization, and resource allocation. QUALIFICATIONS You have clear and communicative leadership and are motivated by involving and inspiring your staff. You have good experience initiating, anchoring, implementing, and following up on various processes. You place great emphasis on teaching quality and implementation and are driven by creating sustainable long-term results, with student success as the focus. You have the ability to create participation, structure, and systematicity in the school's student wellness processes. You have good knowledge of school governing documents and are experienced in managing financial responsibility. You are comfortable working toward shared goals and value a holistic perspective within primary education. You value collaborative partnerships where everyone develops together. You build sustainable relationships, emphasize shared values, and contribute to a good work environment. You have relevant higher education with a pedagogical focus. We consider experience from previous principal positions or other leadership roles within education as meriting, as well as having completed the state principal training program.
