We are seeking a dedicated preschool teacher for Skogshyddan preschool. With us, you will help create a safe, educational, and inspiring everyday environment for the children and work with colleagues to develop our educational activities. Skogshyddan is a preschool with three age-divided departments where we maintain close collaboration between sections. The preschool has large and welcoming outdoor environments with proximity to natural areas, which provides excellent opportunities for play, exploration, and learning. At Skogshyddan, we continuously work to develop our approaches and learning environments. Currently, we are working with the theme of democracy and base our projects and methods on a selected book on this theme, which accompanies us and the children throughout the school year. We are recruiting primarily for Skogshyddan, but as an employee in Hjo Municipality's preschools, you are part of a common organization. Our preschools operate according to a shared structure and equivalent working methods. Through common templates and guidelines, we create conditions for quality, flexibility, and collegial learning. JOB DUTIES As a preschool teacher in Hjo Municipality, you are an important part of the children's learning and development. You utilize the children's curiosity, interests, and experiences and create teaching and learning environments based on their needs. Your tasks include, among other things: • plan, implement, and follow up on educational work • create stimulating and accessible learning environments • visualize children's development and learning through pedagogical documentation • reflect together with children on learning and development • collaborate with colleagues in your team and contribute to the development of the activities • work according to the preschool's governing documents and Hjo Municipality's common working methods. We have a well-established structure for collegial learning and regularly create meeting places to evaluate and develop our activities together. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a certified preschool teacher and who wants to help create a safe and educational preschool where children's development and learning are at the center. You are dedicated to your educational mission and have the ability to see opportunities, take initiative, and collaborate with others. You are curious about developing both your own and the organization's competence and actively contribute to a good work environment. We place great importance on personal suitability as we want to create secure child groups and well-functioning work teams. Experienced childcare workers are also welcome to apply, but we primarily recruit qualified preschool teachers.
