The Investigation Unit works with preliminary assessments, investigations, and provides support and services to children, youth, and their parents in accordance with the Social Services Act and the Act on Care of Young People (LVU). The investigation unit employs approximately 60 staff members divided into three work teams. We work according to the Children's Needs in Focus (BBIC) system, which is a unified framework for child social services. Our goal is to conduct high-quality social work with the child's needs as the primary focus. The work is based on knowledge, accessibility, continuity, participation, and a holistic perspective.
