Facility Description Myrans Preschool has four classrooms with 18 children in each group, ages 1–5 years. The preschool is beautifully located in a quiet residential area with a large yard featuring excellent play areas and forest access just beyond the fence. We are now hiring two substitute childcare workers for Myrans Preschool! Job Responsibilities As a childcare worker, you will work with the team to create a safe and developmentally supportive learning environment for the children in your classroom. The curriculum guidelines outline your responsibility within the team to develop, monitor, and evaluate activities and education. As a childcare worker, you will be part of a team participating in planning, implementing, and evaluating the instruction provided to children. In collaboration with your team, you will present new challenges to children and provide support and stimulation for their social development. Qualifications Experience working in preschool, childcare training, or other relevant experience the employer considers appropriate. Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Personal suitability is given significant weight. Under Sweden's national minority languages law, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is a merit in applications for employment with Gällivare Municipality.
