About the Job Job Description: Culligan Water Purification Group is a family-owned business in Uppsala specializing in drinking water purification. We plan, design, sell, and install equipment for private individuals, industries, cooperatives, and municipalities. We sell Culligan products and manufacture our own water filters under the VRG brand. Our workplace has staff working in the office as consultants/sales representatives and service technicians who perform service and install equipment throughout Sweden. Job Responsibilities: As a service technician, you will work very hands-on and the role can be physically demanding. You will work from our office and perform jobs at customer locations. You will be the company's face to the public and serve as the link between customers and our office staff. The job involves considerable driving and may include overnight stays at other locations. Examples of work tasks include: Plan jobs and pack your service vehicle based on work orders assigned by the service manager. Troubleshoot and repair water filters or related equipment at customer sites or in our workshop. Replace existing water filters with new ones or perform new installation of filter equipment. Carry out recurring service agreements for service customers where we maintain their water filter equipment. Chlorinate drinking water wells and associated pipe networks. Perform drinking water sampling tests. Qualifications: No previous work experience in this field is required. Subject Description The subject is animal reproduction with a focus on domestic animals. The subject area of animal reproduction encompasses fertility and reproduction in domesticated animals. It includes the subdisciplines of andrology, gynecology, obstetrics and mammary gland diseases, as well as biotechnology, endocrinology and toxicology relevant to the subject area. Duties The applicant will be expected to: develop and lead internationally successful research; develop, lead and participate in teaching at first, second and third cycle level; primarily teach animal reproduction, in addition to other components at first, second and third cycle level covering the subject; develop and maintain national and international networks with academia, the relevant public authorities, industry, organisations and society at large; collaborate with other SLU research teams to strengthen interdisciplinary activities at the university; apply for external research funding from both national and international sources; supervise doctoral students (and Bachelor's students undergoing specialist training); actively participate in clinical work and teaching; contribute to the strategic development of the department, faculty and SLU; communicate research findings and other relevant information to society at large; perform administrative duties within the department, faculty and university. The department uses Swedish and English in parallel. The senior lecturer should be able to perform the majority of their tasks in English. However, as a public authority, the university has Swedish as its main language according to the requirements of the Language Act and the senior lecturer must be able to use Swedish as their working language within four years of beginning the position.
