Our Operations The Medical Products Agency's archive function is part of the Information Management Unit. The unit is responsible for both operational and strategic case and document management through the archive function and main registry. Today, the archive function is staffed by four people. Your Tasks As an archivist at the Medical Products Agency, you work with comprehensive archive and information management and the agency's systems for preservation of electronic documents. You work strategically to develop governing documents and design the Medical Products Agency's archive reporting, for example the agency's classification structure. You conduct preservation and disposal reviews and work closely with operations by providing training and support on matters related to archives, electronic preservation, and document management. In your work, you create information management plans, process descriptions, and are responsible for archive reporting as well as long-term preservation of the Medical Products Agency's public records, in both digital and analog formats. You work closely with colleagues in the Security Unit on matters such as security protection and information classification. You also participate in various development projects, for example agency-wide case management systems, and collaborate with different parts of the organization. Your Background We are looking for someone with strong knowledge and experience in both digital and physical archive and information management. You have an academic degree in archive and information science or other education that we consider equivalent. You have at least a few years of experience working in public administration in the field of archive and information management and have practical experience informing and training in your area. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You should have an interest in process thinking and the entire information flow within e-government, as well as in change and development work. It is also a merit if you have experience with: working with e-archives and e-government conducting preservation and disposal reviews designing information management plans performing process mapping working with information security working in the Klara archive description system and the process tool VisAlfa. We will continue our work on extracting knowledge from large-scale ECG datasets and possibly related data. The aim is to investigate the use of these models for decision support, and the position may also involve work with decision algorithms. The postdoctoral researcher will collaborate with colleagues at the Faculty of Medicine here in Uppsala and likely also with our collaborators in Brazil. Key technical terms for the position include: probabilistic models, deep learning, decision algorithms, Bayesian inference, and precision medicine. Deputy Company Commander at 1621st Airbase Company, F 16
F 16 is responsible for Uppsala garrison and the operation of Uppsala Airport. The flotilla is also responsible for monitoring Swedish airspace 24/7, 365 days a year, and leads the Swedish Air Force's fighter jets in the air. Your Assignment To continue developing systematic information security work, Region Uppsala needs to revise and strategically build upon the security work currently being conducted, to meet new technology, requirements, and risks from a changing society. An important task for the information security strategist is to, based on experience from previous work, legislation, recommendations and new findings, strategic direction, and current environmental conditions, contribute to Region Uppsala's work and development of systematic and risk-based information security work. As a strategist, you analyze statistics and reports, prepare responses to government agencies, write decision-making documents for senior management and political leadership. The assignment involves collaboration with internal and external actors, strategically contributing to the development of guidelines and other support to Region Uppsala's various administrations within the field of information security. As part of the role, you will also provide operational support to administrations within Region Uppsala, collaborate with government agencies, and work closely with other information security functions at Region Uppsala's Management Office. In the coordinator role, tasks include supporting administrations' operations in conducting information classifications, risk analyses, formulating relevant procurement requirements, supporting the implementation of security measures, and conducting training. The position is placed in the Security and Preparedness Department, Business Protection Unit, at Region Uppsala's Management Office. The unit is responsible for, among other things, information security, GDPR/data protection, physical security, personal security, and fire safety. Your Qualifications You have relevant university education, or alternatively other education and work experience that we consider equivalent. You have experience and have worked with systematic information security work. You have good analytical ability and competence in systematic work. The assignment includes being able to conduct environmental analysis, understand changes in the surrounding society and their significance for the assignment and for the organization, as well as prepare decision-making documents. To perform the assignment, you need to have very strong ability to collaborate and value cooperation both within the unit/department, the region, and with external actors. Some of our positions are security-classified and the employee must undergo a security vetting interview and register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
