Our Operations Within the operational area of the Imaging and Functional Medicine Center (BFC), we currently have more than 300 employees. We perform examinations using X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), nuclear medicine, and interventional procedures. Advanced interventional diagnostics and treatment are also performed here. With several professorships and docent positions associated with the operation, there are significant opportunities for research, development, and mentoring. We also conduct extensive education at the clinic. Personal care is in focus, as are our core values of humility, skill, and long-term commitment. We are now seeking a section chief for the Section for Musculoskeletal and Pediatric Radiology at the Imaging and Functional Medicine Center. The section conducts diagnostics using all modalities and serves healthcare providers both within and outside Region Uppsala. Your Assignment As section chief, you will be responsible for more than 10 physicians. You have overall medical leadership responsibility for the section's operations, and the role also includes responsibility for production, quality, work environment, and finances. You will report directly to the operations manager and participate in the operational area's management group. Your task will be to lead and develop the section as a whole toward established goals. The management role is expected to occupy up to 50% of your position. The remaining time is devoted to clinical work/research/education. Your Qualifications You are a specialist physician in radiology/imaging and functional medicine. Teaching and research experience/dissertation are advantageous. We seek a professional and committed manager who works with clear and present leadership. You have leadership qualities that build trust with employees and support and contribute to their and the operation's development. You are a positive role model in the organization and have the ability to engage, create participation, and foster a positive climate.
