Project Description The department managing expanded subway operations currently has three divisions working on projects to expand the subway in different geographic areas, as well as two divisions working on joint support and governance. Within the West Division, we have the task of planning, designing, and building a subway between Fridhemsplan and Älvsjö, and ensuring that there are vehicles and depot capacity to operate traffic on the line. When traffic starts, responsibility is handed over to the Traffic Administration within Region Stockholm to manage future operations. The expansion of the subway from Fridhemsplan to Älvsjö involves a double-track subway on a new route with six new stations. Additionally, new depot capacity must be secured and vehicles procured. The project is currently fully financed through the Sweden Agreement and investment funds within Region Stockholm. Currently, the project is in the planning, design, and construction phase with ongoing preparation of construction documents and Requests for Proposal (RFP) for upcoming procurement of contracts. We have also begun some of our preparatory work. The line between Fridhemsplan and Älvsjö will be independent from the rest of the subway system and will therefore be built on its own technical platform, with stations that are half the length of the rest of the network, with trains that run more frequently and in tunnels excavated with new technology. Over the coming years, we are building an organization for further design and construction production. When operations are in full tunnel and installation production, the client organization will comprise approximately 150 people with approximately 2.5 billion kronor in annual turnover. We anticipate nine years of construction time. Job Description As an RFP (Request for Proposal) Coordinator, you are responsible for driving the work from design and procurement through the implementation of contracts. With a clear and constructive communication style, you contribute to an open and solution-oriented work environment. As a person, you are analytical, problem-solving, and work with goal and results orientation. You collaborate easily and build trust in your relationships. An important success factor in the role is your ability to see the whole picture in a complex everyday situation, while you can drive issues forward and make well-considered decisions. You have a talent for leadership, value diversity, and understand how different competencies strengthen the team as a whole. Your ability to navigate in complex contexts makes you confident and effective in the assignment. Consultant's Areas of Responsibility 1. Drive the project from design through procurement to implementation of contracts. 2. Ensure that schedule, cost, and scope are delivered according to approved budgets, agreements, environmental rulings, and the forthcoming railway plan. 3. Lead the preparation of requests for proposals and ensure quality-assured construction documents. 4. Manage reviews and independent reviews prior to approval of construction documents. 5. Follow up on RFPs during the construction phase and handle changes, adjustments, and deviations. 6.
