The Medical Technology and Diagnostics Department is part of the Life Science division at RISE. The department consists of two units in Sweden with over 30 committed employees. The Medical Technology and Biological Function unit operates in Mölndal, Borås, and Stockholm. About the Role As a unit manager, you are responsible for, lead, and develop a unit consisting of approximately 20 employees, primarily in researcher and project manager roles. The unit's main tasks include testing and verifying medical technology products according to accredited test methods (ISO17025 and GLP) and collaborating with companies to develop medical technology products from concept to CE marking. The unit also works on innovation projects in precision medicine and diagnostics. You are responsible for securing our innovation capacity and research and development together with colleagues within RISE and with our partners and customers. Together with the department's management team, you define the strategic direction, are responsible for the unit's business development, dialogue with our customers, and enable the daily operations of our employees. You engage and coach the unit's employees in breaking down the overall mission in the operations and in ensuring high-quality deliveries to both customers and in projects. As a unit manager, you are part of the department's management team.
