Project Assistant in Forest Dynamics Analysis

Job Responsibilities Demographic vegetation models are some of our most advanced and promising tools for understanding how the world's forests are likely to change in the future. This position will contribute to the use of such models in two projects funded by the EU research and innovation program Horizon Europe. To be able to rely on the demographic vegetation models' predictions, they need to be thoroughly compared with real-world observations. In the AI4PEX project, we have compiled extensive data to test such models, as well as a set of methods for this evaluation.
