Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking mechanical design engineers for a long-term assignment with our client. The work involves design and technical documentation within product development. Your responsibilities will include design work, creation of drawing documentation, detailed design, as well as preparation and updating of technical documentation. - This position requires that you undergo and receive clearance according to current security regulations. For positions with security classification requirements, certain citizenship may be required in some cases. In this role, you are expected to work in a structured and methodical manner with a focus on quality, precision, and delivery. The work involves translating technical requirements into practical design solutions while adhering to internal processes, standards, and guidelines. You will collaborate with both design engineers and other technical functions to ensure efficient and well-developed solutions. Balancing precision, efficiency, and understanding of business requirements is a central part of the assignment. Your Profile • University or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, product development, or equivalent. • 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field. • Basic knowledge of mechanical design and drawing creation. • Experience with CAD tools through studies, internships, thesis work, or previous employment. Knowledge of Creo Parametric is a merit. • Understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and technical documentation. • Interest in product development and technical problem-solving. • Experience from industrial projects, internships, or thesis work is a merit but not a requirement. • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technical areas and working methods.
