Then we welcome you to the Adult Psychiatry Department 5 for eating disorders in Lund. The Eating Disorders Center offers highly specialized 24-hour care and day care services. The operation has a regional mandate, which means we receive patients from throughout Scania. We also offer outpatient care for patients residing in Lund. At the Eating Disorders Center, approximately 40 people work across professional categories including nurses, medical secretaries, social workers, nursing assistants, psychologists, doctors, physiotherapists, and dietitians. We would like you to have experience working as a caregiver and/or nursing assistant. It is an asset if you have experience working in psychiatry or with patients with mental health issues. Experience working with patients with eating disorder problems is particularly valuable. Good computer skills and basic knowledge of our medical records system Melior are also beneficial. As a person, you are flexible and have the ability for innovative and holistic thinking. You have the patient in focus and have an easy time building trust. In our daily work, rapid changes often occur, which requires abilities such as overview, planning, and structure. Therefore, you need to be able to work independently and have an easy time collaborating. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. As part of the suitability assessment, prior to deciding to offer employment, a check may be made of the suspicion and burden register.
