Nerikes Brandkår is a municipal federation where Örebro, Kumla, Hallsberg, Lekeberg, Laxå, Askersund, Nora, Lindesberg, and Ljusnarsberg collaborate on rescue services and accident prevention activities. The area has a county assignment for acute and planned surgical care and we also provide some highly specialized care for out-of-county patients. Planned care is increasingly located in Karlskoga and Lindesberg and similarly tumor and trauma operations are located in Örebro.
