Then you are warmly welcome to submit your application! What does the job as a residential support worker at Frösunda involve? As a residential support worker, you work at one of our homes supporting, motivating, and stimulating individuals' own ability to perform daily living activities. You work to provide each customer with individually adapted support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their everyday life. Residential support is provided for people with different types of disabilities, which is why the individuals' skills, needs, and development guide our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and comfortable environment. Work tasks for a residential support worker include documentation, creating implementation plans, and being a key contact person. Examples of work tasks: Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, making beds Documentation and reporting Outings, walks, exercise, and activities Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, and social presence Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily life Working hours are arranged according to customers' needs and vary between day, evening, and night shifts with on-call sleeping duty, both weekdays and weekends. About Näset Näsets group home is located in Näsby on the outskirts of Örebro and is an LSS housing facility for people with acquired brain injury. As a residential support worker, you support our customers in their daily lives based on their individual circumstances. The starting point in the work is the customer's self-determination and focus. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should be good at collaborating with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. We place great importance on personal suitability, where care and nursing education or similar is a merit. We believe that to succeed, you should have some experience working with people in different contexts. Most importantly, you must be responsible, flexible, have a good manner, be curious, engaged, and treat our customers with respect. We would like you to be a nursing assistant, childcare worker, or have equivalent training. It is a strong merit if you have previous experience working with LSS and have care experience. Good knowledge of Swedish is required, both spoken and written. Other information Employment type: Permanent position with 6-month probationary period Scope: Part-time 70-90% distributed across day, evening, weekend, and on-call sleeping duty Start date: By agreement We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide a certificate from the criminal record registry. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by providing proof of EU/EES citizenship or a valid work permit.
