We are seeking an occupational therapist for the rehabilitation unit at the hospital with placement on two care wards: A geriatric ward with five beds, focused on rehabilitation, and a surgical ward with approximately 24 beds. The geriatric ward specializes in patients over 65 years of age who need geriatric care or continued rehabilitation. We work in teams on the ward. On the surgical ward, you will meet patients who have undergone surgical examinations or operations as well as traumatic injuries. When illness or functional impairment makes it difficult for patients to visit a health center or hospital, we are there in home care to provide compassionate healthcare directly in the patient's own home. Home care on Gotland is a unit with drive and rapid development that meets patients' needs for care and rehabilitation in special housing and in ordinary housing. The goal of home care is good and safe care where patients feel secure, involved, and well-treated. Home care is organized by geographic areas with multiprofessional teams consisting of physical therapists / physiotherapists, district nurses / nurses, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and nursing assistants.
