We are now looking for a coordinator and project manager for Valdemarsvik Municipality. About the assignment The assignment is full-time with a start as soon as possible after August 10 and runs until the end of the year with the possibility of extension. The assignment is carried out largely on-site in Valdemarsvik. A company has submitted an application to the government for the establishment of nuclear power in Valdemarsvik Municipality. The matter is of national interest and involves a long-term and complex review process that involves the government, relevant authorities, as well as regional and municipal levels. This is a process and coordination assignment. You will work based on the municipality's responsibility as an organization, applicable legislation and made political decisions, and contribute to: the municipality's internal work is well coordinated information is correct, clear and accessible dialogue is conducted in a professional and trust-building manner Your duties Be the coordinating project manager for the municipality's work related to the submitted application to the government Coordinate relevant functions within the municipality (for example urban development, environment, management, legal and communications) Responsible for contacts and cooperation with government authorities, regional actors and other external parties Follow and support the municipality's work in different stages of the application and permit process Coordinate the handling of referrals, supplements and feedback Responsible for coordination, including: internal information to the organization support to the political level in the form of factual and clear decision-making materials external communication towards residents, media and other stakeholders Ensure that the municipality's communication is neutral, fact-based and that roles are clear Contribute to structured processes and good documentation Your qualifications Academic education in for example urban planning, urban development, political science or equivalent Several years of experience and very good ability to lead project management and/or coordination, preferably within the public sector Experience of working in or towards a municipal and politically controlled organization Documented experience of authority contacts and complex processes Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing Ability to work independently, in a structured manner and with high integrity Background checks may occur.
