Vallonmässing is a growing company in Valdemarsvik that manufactures interior products and metal components with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, and finishing. We are now looking for a workshop associate who wants to become an important part of our production and eventually take on greater responsibility in the workshop.
We are looking for someone who is practical, meticulous, and enjoys working with their hands. Since we are a small company, you need to be comfortable working independently and be able to take responsibility for your own tasks. You are someone who sees what needs to be done, takes initiative, and tries to solve problems that arise along the way.
The work is varied and includes assembly of products and components, polishing and finishing of metal components, quality control, packing, and other ongoing production tasks.
You don't need to have worked with brass before. What matters most to us is that you have practical skills, are meticulous, and have the desire to learn. Experience from a workshop, production, assembly, craftsmanship, or similar practical work is a plus.
The work is often quite independent. Therefore, it's important that you enjoy working on your own and can drive your tasks forward without constant supervision. At the same time, you need to be able to determine when you should ask or check in to ensure the work is done correctly.
For the right person, we see this as a long-term role. Initially, the focus will be on assembly, polishing, and other workshop work. As you learn our products and production processes, you will gradually be able to take on more tasks and greater responsibility in the workshop.
For this position, you need to:
have a B driver's license
be practical and enjoy working with your hands
enjoy working independently
be meticulous and have an eye for quality and finishing
take responsibility for your tasks and get things done
be able to work on-site at our workshop in Kärnhult outside Valdemarsvik
With us, you will work in a small company with short decision-making processes and great opportunity to influence your own work. You will learn a craft, work with products where quality is central, and develop together with the company.
We place great emphasis on who you are as a person and are looking primarily for someone who wants to stay, develop, and eventually become an important part of Vallonmässing's workshop.
