IT Administrator for Our Service Desk

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as IT administrator, you have a varied and important assignment as first-line IT support for our users. You help users using modern technical tools and work methods and handle a variety of administrative tasks. You receive, distribute, and resolve tickets as they are reported by users. In addition to your work in the service desk, you also resolve qualified tickets that cannot be solved directly over the phone. The IT department currently consists of a team of 13 employees working broadly across several areas of responsibility. The IT department serves the municipality's operations with the services and products needed to deliver a stable and well-functioning IT environment. The department is led by the municipality's digitalization manager. At the turn of the year, Tranås kommun will become the sixth member municipality in Höglandsförbundet, which will very likely lead to significant changes and new opportunities for our IT operations. Common tasks in the role include: Coordination and escalation of incoming tickets Handling of IT-related tickets primarily via phone and remote support Troubleshooting and finding solutions to IT-related issues from our users Account and access administration Handling of receipt and return of IT equipment Inventory management Documentation Creating checklists and manuals for our users License management, orders, and follow-up QUALIFICATIONS We'd like you to have experience working in a service desk. It's a plus to have education in IT or related fields. You have good knowledge of Microsoft's product portfolio and you enjoy delivering really good user support. To fit this role, we see that you are outgoing and enjoy helping many different users with varying levels of IT knowledge. You learn easily and enjoy new challenges and changes. You are persistent, stress-resilient, and have good organizational skills and like to work in a structured way, and you are someone who takes responsibility for your tasks. You can take your own initiative but you are a pronounced team player who both benefits from and contributes to knowledge and experience in our team. You can come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues, and you have a pedagogical manner and are attentive to users' needs. We place great importance on personal fit.
