About the job. I am a 10-year-old boy seeking a new personal assistant for daytime hours. I have a disability and need help with various aspects of daily life. You will work closely with me and be an important part of my everyday routine. The work involves being present and available for all activities. You are responsible for creating a calm, safe, and stable environment and ensuring that the day flows well and safely. Who are you? I am looking for someone who is attentive, empathetic, and responsible. You have a genuine interest in working with people, are flexible, and adapt easily to different situations. Experience in care work or health and support services is a merit, but we place the greatest emphasis on your personality and your ability to treat others with respect and consideration. • You are thorough and have good judgment. • You can work independently but also collaborate well with others. • You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • It is an advantage if you have experience working with young people. I need help with suctioning and can manage feeding through a PEG tube and use of a lift. Most importantly, you are someone who can see me as a whole person and plan and structure my day independently. You should view this work as long-term, as it takes time for me to adjust to new assistants. You must have fluent Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is important for communication and documentation. If you have nursing assistant training, that is a great plus, but what matters most is that you are calm, attentive, and want to be part of my daily life.
