DUTIES As a developer for civic organizations, participation and public health, you have an important role in the municipality's long-term public health work. You are part of the municipality's strategic public health function together with the municipality's public health strategist and contribute, based on your expertise, to analysis, development, collaboration and monitoring of the municipality's public health work. A central part of the assignment is to initiate, develop and coordinate initiatives together with the municipality's civic organizations and civil society that promote good and equitable health. Through collaboration, you should contribute to creating conditions for increased physical activity, good living habits, social community, participation and inclusion for the municipality's residents. The focus of the position is on developing the municipality's work with civic organizations, participation and public health. The assignment includes, among other things: • developing the municipality's collaboration with civic organizations and civil society. • initiating, coordinating and monitoring public health-promoting initiatives together with civic organizations. • developing forms for citizen dialogue and resident participation. • identifying needs and development areas through dialogue, analysis and collaboration. • contributing to analyses, monitoring and development of the municipality's public health work together with the public health strategist. • participating in the preparation and monitoring of the municipality's activity plan for local public health work. • developing the municipality's support for civic organizations. • handling association grants and providing support and advice to the municipality's associations. • collaborating with the municipality's activities, civic organizations, civil society and other external actors. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a degree from university or college in public health science or other education that the employer deems equivalent. We would like to see that you have experience in development work, project management or process management. Experience working in public activities, civic organizations or civil society is a merit. If you have worked with citizen dialogue, collaboration, public health issues or civic organization development, we see that as a great asset. It is also advantageous if you have experience in analyzing and compiling material, implementing it in development work and planning, monitoring and evaluating initiatives. You communicate well in speech and writing and have good digital skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Salary form: Monthly salary. Type of employment: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date by agreement. Working hours: Daytime. Work is mainly during daytime hours. Other times may occur when the position requires it.
