Machine Operator at Borås Energi o Miljö
We are now seeking a Machine Operator for our Energy Business Area Do you want to be part of the journey to create Sweden's most sustainable circular economy city? Are you interested in creating added value for our customers? As a Machine Operator with us, you will organizationally belong to the Energy Business Area (BA). Within BA Energy, production includes district heating, district cooling, electricity, and hydropower. BA Energy is one of our largest business areas within Borås Energi and operates several different production facilities, with the largest being the combined heat and power plant Ryaverket located in central Borås and our combined heat and power plant at Sobacken just outside Borås. In this position, you will become part of our fantastic Fuel & Ash team, which consists of 5 people, and your placement will be at the Sobacken facility. You will work in a two-person team where working hours and tasks vary by season. During the low season, we work day shifts. During the high season (approximately October-March), we run 2-shifts (day: 06-14, evening: 14-22) where weekend work may occur. As a machine operator, you have a central and very important role in the entire logistics process for good quality during the fuel season and for storage during off-season periods. Your Responsibilities You will work with receiving/directing and handling of biofuel arriving at the Sobacken facility.
