Senior Technical Project Manager, Data Center Consolidation – Stockholm Region A region in Stockholm County will consolidate existing data center environments and modernize IT infrastructure at one of its hospitals. The assignment is to lead the work from planning through implementation, with many dependencies between infrastructure, applications, network, security, operations teams, and external vendors. The goal is increased standardization, security, cost efficiency, and operational reliability, as well as simplified management. Quick Facts Competency Level: Level 4 (Senior) Start: October 19, 2026 Scope: Full-time, 100% Location: Södertälje, hybrid with up to 50% remote Assignment Duration: Through December 31, 2026, with option to extend for 6 months Key Dates: Interview/alignment via MS Teams on October 5, 2026 (10:00, 13:30, or 14:30) Application Deadline: September 23, 2026 What You Will Do Plan, coordinate, and execute the consolidation of data center environments Own and drive 2–3 parallel pre-studies during fall 2026 Describe technical challenges and prepare clear decision-making materials for management Establish project organization, communication plan, and risk management Coordinate internal teams with external operations vendors Monitor budget and report to the steering committee and client Implement changes with minimal impact on hospital operations Requirements Competency Level 4: At least 8 years of documented experience as a technical project manager for projects focused on IT infrastructure and data centers At least 5 years of documented experience with assignments in the public sector Documented experience from projects in healthcare environments and mission-critical operations (region or authority) Documented experience leading large data center projects or infrastructure transformation initiatives in organizations with more than 1,000 employees Documented experience with IT security work, risk management, and collaboration with external operations vendors Good knowledge of various development methods and approaches in technical development projects Broad technical expertise in server, storage, network, and security infrastructure Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written Two reference assignments from the past five years as a technical project manager (at least one in IT infrastructure/data centers for an organization with at least 1,000 employees) Meritorious Documented experience from projects in regions Experience leading AD migration projects Experience with projects affecting operations at an acute care hospital Experience with IT workplace platforms in regions or authorities (at least 1,000 employees) Certification in ITIL / Service Management or equivalent Application Apply via the listing. Lead Project Manager, Patient Monitoring System Procurement
You will lead a regional procurement of patient monitoring systems for multiple hospitals, from initial needs assessment through handover to operations management. About the Client A large public healthcare organization in the Stockholm region will procure a new patient monitoring system. The procurement is regional and covers both major acute care hospitals and smaller hospitals. Requirements will be developed together with representatives from multiple hospitals, various professions, and support functions. The goal is an agreement that creates value for operations and patients over the long term. The client wants the role staffed externally to ensure independence and impartiality. About the Role You will become the lead project manager and the coordinating link between the healthcare facilities, the procurement function, and decision-makers. The role is both leadership and operational. You lead the project and actively participate in the work. You will join at an early stage and follow the work from startup through the entire procurement and handover. After that, the operations management organization takes over and implements the system at each hospital. The assignment is expected to run for approximately three years. This suits you if you have led procurements under LOU previously, enjoy bringing together many perspectives, and want to see the requirements you develop become an agreement that stands the test of time. The role requires that you are independent from patient monitoring system vendors.
