Description
The primary mission of the Employment Unit is to actively work to make more residents self-sufficient while helping local companies find the right competence. Through coordinated efforts, residents without employment are supported in strengthening their position on the labor market, and ultimately become self-supporting through work or studies. The Employment Unit (AME) offers various labor market initiatives such as internships, individual guidance, group guidance, and matching with both public and private employers.
Collaboration is of utmost importance to our operations. Especially with other departments in the municipality, but also with the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, healthcare, and the 11 municipalities within the Helsingborg Family network. Projects are also carried out through FINSAM NNV Scania.
Job Responsibilities
We are now seeking an Employment Consultant to join our team with a main focus on group and individual guidance. The position encompasses all work within the operation with the aim of mapping and investigating the individual's prerequisites for employment, and through guidance and intervention coordination supporting the individual toward sustainable establishment on the labor market. A major focus is on work with clients referred from social services who receive financial assistance.

The work includes, among other things:
In collaboration with others, investigate, plan, coordinate, and implement various types of labor market initiatives.
Motivate, guide, and support clients in strengthening their position on the labor market, with the ultimate goal of becoming self-sufficient.
High demands for documentation and follow-up, as well as quality responsibility throughout the process.
Collaboration with internal, external, and/or referring parties regarding shared clients.
Contact with employers to assist in the recruitment process and meet competence needs through matching with participants.
You will be involved in the operation's development and have the opportunity to influence processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with appropriate education at university level or other competence/experience that the employer deems equivalent and relevant for the position. You have at least two years of relevant work experience and also experience of relationship-building work with the aim of developing and maintaining good relationships with various collaboration partners.
Personal Qualities
To succeed in this role, you need to possess the following qualities/abilities:
Responsiveness and communication skills in meetings with clients to create and maintain a good and professional relationship.
Good collaboration skills, where respect, trust, and absence of pretense are of utmost importance.
Administrative ability and computer skills, based on high demands for documentation in operational systems and extensive digital communication in the current situation.
Initiative to start activities, achieve results, and also complete what has been started.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. Other language skills are meriting but not required.
Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
The position is a temporary contract for 1 year.
