The foundation of our treatment work is to motivate people toward new and less destructive ways of living. You will work in a team of dedicated colleagues and with your combined expertise you have the opportunity to achieve good results. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will plan, implement, and follow up on program activities. You will conduct treatment conversations and have a special responsibility for documentation and the forms and instruments used in treatment. You will collaborate with various functions regarding assessment, development, and follow-up of treatment plans. The role of Treatment Coordinator also includes an additional responsibility for mentoring new employees and interns. An important shared task for all employees is to help create a safe environment and ensure that security at the institution is maintained according to procedures. You need to be skilled at planning and structuring your work, be able to work independently, and take your own initiatives. Since treatment work is documented and discussed with various stakeholders, high demands are placed on good Swedish both spoken and written. You should also have: Relevant higher education, for example social worker, social pedagogue, or other care/behavioral science education, alternatively post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogue, with solid experience in program activities. Russinbacken HVB Seeks Treatment Counselors!
Russinbacken HVB serves young men ages 16-20 with substance abuse and addiction issues, often combined with criminal behavior and other psychosocial challenges. The facility's goal is to provide structured, secure, and long-term interventions that strengthen individuals' capacity for change, stability, and a functional daily life. Russinbacken operates a primary care residential program with 16 placements divided between two houses. Three treatment counselors work in close collaboration in a structured daily environment with a clear focus on individual treatment plans. Work is conducted using evidence-based and structured methods. Treatment is grounded in a 12-step program adapted for youth and incorporates motivational interviewing (MI) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Additionally, manual-based programs are used such as Criminality as a Lifestyle, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and Lokahi. We are now recruiting both permanent staff and temporary substitute counselors! Who Are We Looking For? To succeed in this role, we see that you are a secure and stable person with a strong ability to work independently and goal-oriented. You have understanding of complex life situations and behaviors stemming from them. You are confident in various situations and can meet the young people with empathy and stability. Working in a structured and goal-oriented manner closely with colleagues and supervisors is essential and a prerequisite for a secure and safe work environment and for the treatment of the placed youth.
