We are now seeking additional substitute teachers for our preschools! About the Position Working as a substitute involves replacing regular staff on short notice, often the same morning. Primarily for shorter assignments when regular staff are sick or need to be away. You'll be a hero saving the workday! No two days are alike, which makes the job both challenging and exciting. Within the eastern area, there are six preschools located in Sköllersta, Pålsboda, and Hjortkvarn. You can choose to register as a substitute for all preschools or individual facilities depending on your circumstances. Job Responsibilities In your role as a substitute teacher in preschool, you support the work team when regular staff are absent and contribute to a safe and functioning daily routine for the children. For example, you may participate in play and planned activities, provide care during meals, rest time and outdoor activities, and help maintain order in the environment. What Do You Need to Know? You must be prepared to work on short notice and be willing to serve as a role model for those you meet in the preschool—children, educators, and parents. We place great value on your previous experience working with children. Perhaps you're a sports coach or youth leader? Maybe you're pursuing higher education? You should be solution-focused and able to take personal responsibility. You will need a valid criminal record check before starting work.
