As a substitute teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work in different schools and with various age groups. Assignments can be both planned in advance and with short notice. WORK DUTIES As a substitute teacher, your tasks may include: • Teaching lessons based on the teacher's planning and the school's routines. • Being responsible for student safety and a conducive learning environment during the school day. • Supporting students in their learning and development. • Supervising recess and being a trusted adult for the students. • Following tasks and instructions from the responsible teacher or school management. • Adapting instruction to meet students' different needs and circumstances. • Collaborating with teachers and other school staff. • Assisting with other tasks in the school's operations as needed.
