Together, they form our common platform. Description We are seeking a Municipal Secretary with responsibility for archives and GDPR for Munkfors Municipality. The role belongs to the Municipal Management Office; the unit for "Internal Services and Citizen Services." The unit consists of an HR Manager, HR Partner, two HR Specialists, two Communicators, a Municipal Guide, a Security and Preparedness Coordinator, and two Municipal Secretaries. Duties The role includes standard duties such as coordinating and quality-assuring matters and decision-making documents for the Municipal Assembly, Municipal Executive Board, and three committees. You also handle incoming documents to the municipality and administer, register, and archive them in the case management system LEX. The position also involves registering data processing activities and reviewing Data Processing Agreements according to GDPR, as well as releasing public records. You also participate in various meeting forums. You provide specialized support to politicians and officials in the political decision-making process and are responsible for ensuring proper procedures regarding notices, minutes, and implementation of decisions related to this. As a Municipal Secretary, you also maintain and manage the municipality's archives (both physical and digital archives) and, from a development strategy perspective, help guide digital information flows. Qualifications The position requires a university degree in public administration law, political science, law, systems science, or equivalent knowledge. It is an advantage if you are trained as an archivist. You need documented knowledge and experience in municipal administration and political governance. If you also have experience working with archives, information management, or case management in a public organization, we consider that an advantage as well. Success in this role requires good IT skills. To thrive in the role, you need to be thorough, well-organized, and have strong abilities to collaborate and communicate in a pedagogical, clear, and respectful manner.
