Substitute Personal Assistants
Would you like to work extra as a personal assistant? We are now looking for reliable and stable hourly substitutes who want to work within our various personal assistance assignments. As an hourly substitute with us, you will be introduced and trained by one or more of our clients. This means we will contact you when the need for a substitute arises, which often happens with short notice. You are booked for one work shift at a time. What does the job involve? As a personal assistant, you help and support a person in their daily life. Our clients are of different ages and have different needs, which means that the tasks vary between different assistance assignments. This can for example involve: helping with personal care and transfers providing support, structure and guidance in daily life accompanying to school, work, activities or other errands cooking and helping with household chores being available as support and security during the day or night medicine delegation occurs in several assignments Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is responsible, confident, attentive and flexible. Since you will be working for several different clients, you need to be able to adapt to different people, routines and working methods. Above all, we are looking for someone who wants to be a recurring and stable substitute with us and who has the ability to step in when regular assistants are sick, on leave or when other needs arise. Experience in personal assistance or other care work is a merit, but personal chemistry and the right attitude are equally important. You need to be able to speak and understand Swedish well, as a personal assistant you sometimes help the client to communicate in different situations. About the employment This is a need-based employment (hourly substitute) where you are booked for one work shift at a time. You indicate yourself in our booking system which days and times you are available. Working hours vary and can be arranged for day, evening, night and weekends. The length of work shifts varies depending on the client's needs, ranging from shorter daytime shifts to 24-hour shifts with standby time, or overnight shifts. Upon a possible employment, you need to show an extract from the criminal record register as well as a document proving your right to work in Sweden (passport, national ID or identity certificate with driver's license). If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA or Switzerland, a work permit or permanent residence permit is required. We are legally obligated to verify this before employment.
We're Hiring Assistants for a Wonderful Young Woman in Charlottenberg!
We're looking for hourly substitute workers with the possibility of scheduled shifts moving forward. Shifts are primarily scheduled for evenings, nights (sleeping on-call), and weekends. Here you'll work with a 15-year-old girl who is curious about life, loves animals, and is mostly a real joy to be around! The client has cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. She uses a wheelchair and communicates using some words and sign language. We're looking for someone who is positive, engaged, and has their heart in the right place. It's important that you are responsible and reliable, but also creative and playful. You need to be attentive to the client's subtle signals and body language. You will be an important part of her daily life and help her succeed with everything from social activities and outings to personal care, mobility assistance, and communication. You will also become part of the family's everyday life, and it's important that you have understanding for and respect the family's integrity, privacy, and personal boundaries. We value that you have experience working with children. It's a plus but not a requirement if you have training in healthcare and social services. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and the chemistry between you and the client. We want you to see this as a long-term job.
