Job Responsibilities With the patient's best interests in focus, you work clinically and conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide physical therapy/occupational therapy interventions. As a licensed professional, you are responsible for documenting the interventions that are planned, implemented, and evaluated. You also have responsibility for prescribing and fitting assistive devices. It is also within the scope of the clinical assignment to guide nursing care staff in various care situations, such as during patient transfers and when handling assistive devices. Creating and maintaining good relationships is an important part of the assignment, and you work closely with your team and with the administration's social workers, managers, and nursing care staff. Dialogue with family members and with staff at health centers and hospitals is also a natural part of your workday. We work Monday through Friday. Qualifications You are a licensed physical therapist/occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish health and medical care. Experience working as a physical therapist/occupational therapist is meritorious, as is experience within municipal home health care. Documented training in transfer techniques (manual transfers and transfers with patient lifts) is also meritorious, as are instructor training and experience in training nursing care staff. Your approach is coaching and pedagogical, and you have good interpersonal skills. Our team-based work method also requires you to be committed, flexible, responsible, and skilled at collaboration. Your ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work gives you good conditions to succeed in your assignment and contributes to creating an efficient operation. You are experienced in working with IT-based medical record systems and you have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
