Work Tasks
As a unit manager with us, you lead work to create a unified and efficient service card service unit. You have personnel, budget and operational responsibility.
Your team consists of assistants, support technicians, and a systems administrator.
Your main work tasks include:
Lead and coordinate Service Card Services operations
Coach two teams of engaged employees in achieving the unit's objectives.
Manage associated systems within the operation.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regional and national digitalization networks.
You are responsible for the unit's operations, finances such as budget, personnel and working environment matters, processes, agreements and quality.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a university degree in a relevant field. You have several years of experience in security matters; service card management experience is a merit. You must have documented leadership experience and be confident in leading a work group and making decisions based on what is best for the business.
The role requires that you are an experienced IT user and that you master Swedish very well in speech and writing.
You find it easy to create an overview, are driven and comfortable making decisions. Your new role involves collaboration both internally and externally, which requires you to be outward-facing and have an easy rapport with people. You are positive and confident in your leadership and develop your employees and operations through participation and collaboration. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
To succeed in the role, you need to have the following:
Good ability to create good collaboration spaces
Good knowledge of systems management (of access control systems)
Good knowledge of identity management (IAM)
Good knowledge in the field of technical security
Good knowledge of how public administration is organized.
Good pedagogical competence
Extensive experience working within a support organization.
Experience driving development work within administration and IT.
Experience with procurements and other contract-related work tasks.
Experience in information security and access control.

About the Operation
The Operations and Services Department is Borås City's internal resource for Property Management and Operational Services. The department consists of 2 work manager areas.
As a unit manager with us, you lead work to create a unified and efficient service card service unit. You have personnel, budget and operational responsibility.
Since our operations are conducted according to a client/contractor model, where the Service Office is the contractor, you will act as a representative with strong customer focus and ensure that the unit can meet the requirements set out in agreements with our clients.
You work continuously with follow-ups of the operations and cooperate with internal and external contact points in the form of clients and customers. You report to the next manager who is a work manager.
Future development issues will revolve around further development of the client/contractor model, business and operational matters, staffing and finances.Work Tasks
