About Kriminalvården Kriminalvården is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking additional staff members. Area of Operations Skogome is Sweden's largest correctional facility for men convicted of sexual offenses. The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) is now recruiting an oceanographer with a biogeochemical focus to our oceanography research unit. The group for which this position is available primarily focuses on marine research concerning Sweden's coastal zone, as well as the Baltic Sea and North Sea. Biogeochemical modeling is an important method in this work. About the Position As a researcher, you will develop new knowledge about the coastal zone in the present day and in a changing climate, and contribute to ensuring that water management has annually updated foundation data. This involves qualified analyses and computer simulations using numerical ocean models, as well as participation in further developing the model system through implementation and analysis of biogeochemical processes on shorter and longer timescales. Process and impact studies, as well as analyses of model simulations and observations, are part of daily work, as are model development and creation of driving data. The Swedish Coastal Zone Model, observations, and climate simulations will be used for this work. Cubsec is now seeking a person for a full-time position in the planning department, hire according to agreement. As a personnel planner, you have close contact with the operational activities and plan staffing in a quality-assured and efficient manner. The planning will be based on laws, procedures, and collective agreements. You will solve short-term vacancies and proactively work to achieve set goals. The role includes vacation planning, training planning, and also some long-term planning. In the role, it is important to be able to make correct assessments and prioritizations despite time constraints. Within our operations, much often happens at once, which means you need to remain calm and focus on the right things even if stressful or pressured situations may arise.
