About the job As an HR Specialist at Öckerö Municipality, you will have a broad and varied generalist role within HR. You will work with many different types of issues and have the opportunity to use and develop your expertise across the entire HR field. One day might involve labor law matters or a rehabilitation case, the next day recruitment, occupational health and safety, or development of an HR process. You therefore need to thrive with variety, be able to switch between different types of issues, and appreciate that no two days are quite alike. You will be a close and qualified support to the municipality's managers and work with both ongoing personnel matters and more complex cases. The role combines operational management support with development of the municipality's HR work. In the role, you will, among other things: provide support to managers on both everyday and complex HR matters provide advice on labor law and occupational health and safety work with rehabilitation and workplace accommodation participate in recruitment and competency planning drive and develop HR processes, procedures, and governing documents conduct training and workshops for managers and employees contribute to strategic development projects within HR You will become part of our HR team consisting of six people: two HR specialists, one process leader, two payroll administrators, and one systems administrator. We work closely together, share our expertise, and help each other when needed. At the same time, everyone has their own areas of responsibility and considerable scope to independently drive their tasks. Your background We are looking for someone with a relevant college degree and experience in qualified and broad HR work. You thrive with the breadth of the HR role and enjoy being a generalist. You appreciate working with different types of issues and find it easy to switch between, for example, labor law, occupational health and safety, rehabilitation, recruitment, and development matters. You are curious about different aspects of HR and enjoy diving into new issues. You feel confident in the role of HR advisor and can independently drive matters from analysis and assessment to implementation and follow-up. You enjoy working closely with managers and operations and find it easy to adapt your support to the situation and needs. You are advisory and solution-oriented, but also dare to ask questions, challenge, and contribute new perspectives when needed. You are clear and professional in your communication and have the ability to make complex issues simple and understandable. You are organized, have good prioritization skills, and can maintain focus even when circumstances change. As a person, you are unpretentious, relationship-building, and solution-oriented, while also having integrity and being able to stand firm on employer matters when needed. You enjoy collaborating and contributing to the team, but also take responsibility for moving your own matters forward. You see HR systems and digital tools as a natural part of the work and are comfortable using them to simplify, streamline, and develop HR processes.
