Nursing Assistants at Almens Care and Housing Facility

Soon we're opening the doors to Järfälla Municipality's newly built Care and Housing Facility! Would you like to be part of the journey from the start and help us create something new together? Then keep reading! Almens Care and Housing Facility is a new and modern residential setting that offers a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for seniors. The facility has 54 units distributed across six departments and four floors, with both somatic and dementia-focused care. There are generous spaces for activities and social gatherings, while the peaceful residential area around the facility offers lovely walking paths and opportunities for outdoor time. Although we're moving into brand new premises, we're not a completely new operation. It's Linden's fantastic staff who form the backbone of our team and who bring their expertise, sense of community, and joy of work into the new facility. We are a star-rated Care and Housing Facility, which means we actively work with competence development and person-centered care for people with dementia. With us, respectful treatment, participation, and the individual's needs are always in focus. We offer a workplace where you have the opportunity to develop, contribute your expertise, and make a difference in the residents' everyday lives. We also work according to the BPSD registry to create the best possible quality of life for our residents. With us, residents are truly at the center. That's why they also have an important voice when we recruit new colleagues. As part of the recruitment process, some of our residents meet candidates and contribute their perspectives. We think it's only natural that the people you'll meet every day also have the opportunity to influence who becomes part of our community. 2 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a nursing assistant at Almens Care and Housing Facility, you help create a meaningful, safe, and joyful everyday life for our seniors. Together with engaged colleagues, you work across several of our departments, where collaboration and care permeate everything we do. We support each other in our daily work and are guided by national values and Individual-Centered Care (IBIC). No two days are the same with us. That's why you need to be flexible and able to adapt to different situations that arise throughout the day. One moment you're helping a resident with personal care, the next you might be sorting out the technology so that a video call with grandchildren works, or you might join someone on a walk in the sunshine. It's precisely this variety that makes the work so rewarding. Most importantly, you always work from the individual's needs and contribute to a safe and pleasant environment. You work according to a schedule with day, evening, and night shifts, and every other weekend. Work hours vary based on operational needs, which means a day shift might start at 06.55 and an evening shift might end at 22.00. Your main duties include: • Provide personal care and assistance • Contribute to social community and security • Plan and carry out activities that create meaningful content in daily life • Perform service tasks, such as cleaning, based on each resident's individual needs • Be a contact person for a number of residents • Document according to IBIC in LifeCare To thrive with us, you need to be flexible, solution-oriented, and have a good sense of humor. You're ready to help wherever needed, big or small, always with the resident's needs in focus. We also believe in continuous development. That's why we value employees who dare to think creatively, raise improvement suggestions, and learn from what happens in our operations. With commitment, curiosity, and courage, you contribute to making us even better for those we're here to serve. QUALIFICATIONS You must be a trained nursing assistant with a protected title from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare, and have worked at a care and housing facility before. If you have further education within your field and/or taken on various responsibility roles, that's a big plus. You also need to understand what we mean by IBIC—that is, what it means to put the individual's needs at the center and how to do it in practice. You speak, understand, and write good Swedish and can therefore document and communicate as needed. And if you speak Finnish, that's also an asset, as Järfälla Municipality is a Finnish administrative area. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Most importantly to us is that you treat residents and colleagues with respect and professionalism. You're not afraid to take your own initiative, while at the same time you believe it's important to collaborate with your colleagues. You put the team before yourself and believe that communication, attentiveness, and collaboration are crucial for achieving common goals. You're flexible, responsible, and service-minded. And last but not least: You enjoy working in elder care, because we do too! We look forward to your application! Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent. JOB DUTIES As a childcare worker, you will work in preschool, preschool class, after-school care, youth club, and adapted primary school, replacing regular staff during their absence. The needs of the units completely determine how much work you will receive, and we therefore cannot guarantee you work every day. Since our operations are mostly closed during the summer, we primarily need staff during the school terms. You should live within a reasonable distance from Järfälla to be able to get to the workplaces within reasonable time. If you cannot attach such a grade in your application, you may instead be required to take a language test as part of the initial screening in the recruitment process. You must be able to work at least ten days per month. If you work fewer than five days per month, we will terminate your employment. You must also be able to work on Mondays. The position starts immediately. Please note that most schools and preschools are closed during the summer months, which means we unfortunately cannot guarantee work during the summer.
