About the position
We are now recruiting a technician for Prestec. In this role, you will be involved in building and customizing vehicles from start to finished solution. You will work with assembly of high-pressure units and related equipment, installation of warning and strobe lights, wiring and control systems, as well as hydraulics and vehicle electrical systems. Troubleshooting and repair are also part of the work.
The work is performed in our workshop in Järfälla and takes place in a small team where you take significant responsibility while working closely with experienced colleagues. Since solutions vary based on customer needs, you need to be practical, solution-oriented, and comfortable with technical problem-solving.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, mechanics, and problem-solving. You are responsible, organized, and enjoy practical work. As a person, you are humble, driven to develop, and enjoy working with others.
We believe you have:
Experience with assembly, workshop work, or similar
Good technical understanding and practical skills
B-class driver's license
Good Swedish, spoken and written
If you have experience with vehicle modification, vehicle body building, vehicle electrical systems, hydraulics, troubleshooting, or vehicle and machinery service, that is a plus, but not required. Most important to us is that you are handy, technically interested, and willing to learn the job. Since you will have contact with customers, we also see that you are service-oriented and enjoy meeting people.
