JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an educated student assistant with both knowledge and experience working with students with disabilities such as ADHD and autism.
It is of utmost importance that you have knowledge and experience in meeting students who have both of these disabilities in combination.
You will provide support during both school hours and after-school care together with your colleagues so that our students develop as far as possible based on their own conditions. The work requires collaboration and flexibility within the team based on different situations that arise. You will also have contact with guardians, which is why such experience is also required.
The position currently applies to a smaller class in our resource school.
Education and support are available within the team and through student health services.
A trial employment may occur and the position is filled pending required decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this position, you are an educated student assistant with both knowledge and experience working with students who have disabilities such as ADHD and autism.
It is of utmost importance that you have knowledge and experience working with and meeting students who have both of these disabilities in combination.
You are mature and calm, while at the same time driven and understanding toward students with such disabilities. You are flexible and accustomed to collaborating.
You are accustomed to working effectively, you are clear and calm in your communication style.
You have knowledge and experience using visual supports and alternative communication methods, such as TAKK/sign language.
You have good references from similar work.
You understand, speak, and write fluent Swedish.
Attach a certificate with your application showing that you are an educated student assistant.
