Meritorious: - Training in MI, ESL, and Intimate Partner Violence. - Training in IBIC. - Experience working with IPS-focused services or work rehabilitation. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. What We Offer You We offer you stimulating and enjoyable work in an engaged and development-oriented group of employees who have participants in focus. We are at the forefront of participation work and have implemented methods such as peer support, participant forums, and study circles in empowerment. With us you receive regular supervision together with your work group. You participate in management meetings in the area and are offered skills development training in the group leader role. As an employee of Södertälje Municipality, you are offered secure employment, good employment terms and work environment, skills development, and several benefits. Sourcing Manager Vehicle- and Customer-Related Software and Services
Role Summary The Project Electronics and Software team within the Cabin and Electronics department is looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to strengthen the newly established TRATON Software X-ring. This is not a traditional project purchasing role. Vehicle- and customer-related software and services require different sourcing approaches, business models and ways of working compared with hardware components, and our processes and ways of working are continuing to evolve. You will therefore have both an operational and a strategic role: driving sourcing activities while, together with procurement colleagues across TRATON, helping shape how we approach and organize software procurement going forward. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Commercial Operations and other stakeholders to support our transformation towards Software Defined Vehicles and an improved digital customer experience. Job Responsibilities As Sourcing Manager for Software and Services, your responsibilities will include both sourcing activities for new development projects and securing competitive cost and capacity for solutions already in operation. You will be expected to use your procurement experience and commercial judgement to find the right sourcing approach for each situation rather than relying solely on established processes. Some of your key responsibilities will be to: Drive sourcing and contracting activities related to vehicle- and customer-related software and services, from early project phases and supplier evaluation through negotiation, nomination and implementation. Together with colleagues in the TRATON Software X-ring, establish common ways of working and clarify roles, responsibilities and interfaces across brands, regions and between direct and indirect procurement. Contribute to the development of category strategies and sourcing plans based on the technical roadmap, software landscape and future business needs, and translate these into concrete procurement activities. Work closely with R&D, Commercial Operations and other stakeholders to understand business needs, challenge requirements and identify suitable sourcing approaches and business models. Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, analyze supplier proposals and present sourcing recommendations in Scania and TRATON decision forums. Build effective supplier relationships and challenge suppliers to create competitive, sustainable and commercially sound solutions for Scania and TRATON. Who You Are To succeed and thrive in this role, you bring solid procurement experience and confidently lead sourcing activities, as well as complex commercial and contractual negotiations. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where processes and responsibilities are still evolving, and you enjoy helping to build the structure needed for success. You combine a commercial, strategic, and analytical mindset with a curiosity for technology. You enjoy understanding new business needs, challenging existing ways of working, and exploring alternative sourcing approaches and business models. You are a strong communicator and collaborator, fluent in English, and able to build alignment across functions, brands, and teams while constructively challenging when necessary. At the same time, you are organized, solution-oriented, and capable of managing multiple complex priorities in parallel. This Is Us The Electronics & Software Project Procurement team leads procurement activities for new development within electronics, software and services. Our responsibilities range from hardware such as ECUs, displays, switches and ADAS sensors to vehicle- and customer-related software and services. We have an open and supportive working climate where we share knowledge, help each other overcome challenges and take joint responsibility for our results. We value a solution-oriented mindset and encourage creativity, new ideas and open dialogue as we continuously challenge ourselves to improve and create value for Scania and TRATON. Scania Offers We offer a dynamic and engaging workplace where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life. You will be part of a strong team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close cooperation across functions. With a structured development plan and a wide range of training opportunities, Scania supports your professional growth both locally and internationally. Benefits include access to our health center in Gröndal or a wellness allowance, result bonus, flexible working hours, and company car leasing. Scania also arranges events for employees and their families, and for those living in Stockholm, convenient commuting is supported through direct Scania Job express buses to Södertälje. Application We look forward to receiving your application, consisting of your CV and kindly ask you not to share a cover letter to ensure an efficient and unbiased recruitment process for all parties. Apply as soon as possible, no later than 2026-09-28. Screening will take place on an ongoing basis during the application period. Logical and personality tests may be used as part of the selection process, and a background check may be required for this role.
