Home Care Services in Fårösund, Lärbro, and Slite operates in three different areas of northern Gotland. Family Assessor
Ängsvillan is an assessment and treatment home for families with children ages 0-12 operated by Region Gotland. Ängsvillan accommodates up to three families and operates 24/7. We also conduct home observations in the family's own environment. Our service area covers all of Gotland, and the workplace is located in Visby. At Ängsvillan, we work on behalf of the Children and Family Unit and the Family Care and Family Law Unit. We collaborate closely with all parties important to the family and work to include both the family's private and professional networks. We work using the Signs of Safety approach, which means we work to ensure that children, parents, and their networks are involved in the assessment's questions and the goals of the change process. As a Family Assessor, you work on a rotating schedule including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. We offer a pleasant and development-oriented work environment with varied tasks. Home Care Services is an important part of the Social Services Department, with a clear mission to create security, independence, and quality of life for people in their own homes. Our geographic area covers Northern Visby and extends up to Väskinde. We have approximately 30 employees distributed across two teams, each with a team leader, with each team consisting of around 15 employees. To support the entire Technology and Infrastructure Development Department, the position of Emergency Preparedness and Security Coordinator has been established.
