There are special residential facilities for seniors at six locations on Gotland. Our mission is to provide the residents with support around the clock with various services. The operations are conducted in accordance with the palliative care philosophy. Kilåkern is a smaller residential facility in two stories consisting of 20 apartments with balconies for special housing and four places for short-term care. Kilåkern is located in Slite on eastern Gotland with proximity to the harbor and town center as well as lovely walking paths in park areas. Nursing assistants, residential assistants, unit manager, rehabilitation staff, and nurses work together to provide our residents with the conditions to live a meaningful and dignified life. Your tasks Your assignment includes standard care and service tasks such as personal care, medication administration, delegated Health and Social Care Act (HSL) services, housekeeping, and various activities based on needs. In the unit, we use Needs-Centered Approach (IBIC) as our method of work. Our approach is to create security and a meaningful daily life for our residents, and we take into account everyone's individual circumstances, needs, and wishes. In addition to care, your responsibilities include being a contact person, working with implementation plans, documentation, contact with relatives, and certain administrative tasks. You work on a standard schedule with day shifts, evening shifts, and every other weekend. For the position as nursing assistant in special housing, the starting salary range is 29,000–34,000 kronor per month. We apply individual salary setting. Final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role, and with consideration to applicable collective agreements. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has the right to use the protected professional title of nursing assistant according to applicable regulations. If you have previous experience working in care, elderly care, or meeting people with cognitive or medical functional impairments, we view that as a merit.
