We are seeking someone who is engaged, responsible, and professional in their approach, and who wants to work with people in a respectful and long-term manner. About the Position As a personal assistant, you provide individually tailored support to a person with a disability in their daily life. The work is performed in the client's home and in other environments where the client spends time. Work tasks vary based on the client's needs and may include personal care, support with daily routines, transfers, and accompanying the client to activities and errands. About the Client and Assignment The assignment concerns a man in his 60s living in Gothem (Slite). The man lives in a villa and your task will be to support him in his daily life. The man has Parkinson's disease and communication difficulties. It is therefore important that you understand and can speak fluent Swedish. We believe that you, as an applicant, are either studying or have some other occupation you want to combine with this work. You will be employed as an hourly substitute and work as needed—perfect if you want an extra job on the side. Working hours are 20:00–12:15 (night shift), of which 8 hours consist of on-call work. You are expected to be able to work both weekdays and weekends. It is important that both you and the client feel secure with each other at work. Therefore, you will always start with an introduction together with experienced staff so that you can subsequently work independently. A prerequisite is that the client and you get along and that the personal chemistry feels right for both parties. Qualifications We are seeking someone who: Preferably has experience working as a personal assistant or other experience from healthcare professions Is responsible, attentive, and has a professional approach Is proactive and action-oriented Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Has a driver's license and access to your own car Has the ability to work flexible hours Great weight is placed on personal suitability as well as respect for the client's autonomy and personal integrity.
