We Are Seeking Substitute Staff for Our HVB Homes in Region Uppland, Humana

Want to make a real difference! Become part of Humana's HVB homes in Region Uppland! Are you looking for a meaningful part-time job where you can help give young people a better future? We are now seeking engaged and responsible substitute staff for our seven HVB homes in Region Uppland: Bellagården, Dalilagården, Eleonoragården, Torpvillan, Vattmyren 1&2, and Villa Nora. With us, you'll have the chance to grow professionally in an environment shaped by Humana's core values: Commitment, Responsibility, and Joy. About the Role and Our Target Groups Our facilities receive children, adolescents, and young adults ages 10–20. The young people we meet are often in complex life situations, and the challenges vary between facilities. This may include norm-breaking and criminal behavior, substance abuse issues, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, or sexual behavioral issues. We work from a norm-critical perspective, and our services are LGBTQI-certified. As an hourly substitute, you will be an incredibly important and trustworthy adult role model in the young people's everyday lives. Your work tasks include: Treatment Work: You support the young people using evidence-based methods, primarily CBT, but also incorporating DBT, ART, B12, A-CRA, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Structure and Clarity: Maintaining a predictable daily routine through clear pedagogy and reinforcement systems such as token economies. Meaningful Leisure Time: Leading and participating in daily physical activity, outdoor activities, cooking, and social skills training. Documentation: Ongoing documentation of interventions and progress according to the BBIC framework. Since our residences are staffed 24/7 with awake night staff, the position involves shift work with varying hours during day, evening, weekends, and night. Who Are You? To succeed and thrive in this role, we're looking for someone who is flexible, solution-focused, and driven by creating meaningful and authentic relationships. You are a trustworthy person with high symptom tolerance who can meet the young people's challenges with a low-affect and motivation-supporting approach. Qualifications and Competency Requirements: You have training as a treatment pedagogue, social worker, or other relevant education (ongoing post-secondary studies in this field are also a merit). You have several years of relevant experience working with children and young people in similar difficult life situations. Experience and formal competency in CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based methods we use is highly valued. Good computer skills, experience with documentation, and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. A B-class driver's license is required. We view linguistic and cultural diversity very positively, as it broadens our expertise and creates an even more inclusive care environment for our young people. Before employment, we require an excerpt from the Police Authority's criminal records and suspicion register. Does this sound like something for you? Don't hesitate to reach out – interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and we look forward to meeting you! Questions? Contact André Keshish, Regional Operations Manager, [email protected]
