About the Role We are seeking a construction manager for civil works in subproject 4 Vapelnäs in the Dingersjö–Kubikenborg project. The subproject includes, among other things, 2.3 km of double-track in undisturbed terrain, extensive rock excavation, mass handling, industrial area fill, bridge structures, and preparatory BEST works. The role is based in Sundsvall with requirements for high physical presence on site in the project. Role and Responsibilities Participate in production planning including phase scheduling. Follow up that contracts are executed according to contract documents. Collaborate with project management and monitor project execution. Manage production technical solutions on site. Coordinate and follow up MSS withdrawals. Contribute production expertise in preparing request for proposal documents. Actively participate in the construction work. Follow up design and handle deviations from building specifications. Control the contractor's quality management, self-inspections, measurements, and testing. Perform site inspections. Participate in meetings, inspections, and risk management. Be present during critical work such as connections and work in the track. Prepare responses to notifications and inquiries in the Project Portal. Control the contractor's invoices. Follow up relationship documents, facility data, and operation and maintenance instructions. Identify problem areas and provide recommendations for corrective measures. Manage quantity and cost adjustments and prepare decision documentation for change order work. Prepare and execute control programs and control plans. Maintain and follow up the daily log. Participate in safety and environmental rounds. Required Qualifications 1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction manager, work supervisor, project manager, or site manager with responsibility for progress and financial follow-up. 2. Experience working as a construction manager, work supervisor, or site manager in complex civil works projects valued at minimum 200 million SEK where rock excavation work was relevant. 3. Experience with mass movement and logistics planning in similar projects. 4. Documented knowledge of practical use of AMA. 5. Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. 6. Class B driver's license. 7. Passed BASÄSKYDD safety course. Desirable Qualifications 1. High expertise in rock excavation work in connection with operating railway facilities and built-up areas. 2. High expertise in drainage solutions for large rock excavations. 3. High expertise in civil works near industries and built-up areas. 4. Experience with utility relocation and moving external electrical installations. Assignment Information Assignment Period: The contract runs from assignment start through 2031 with possibility of extension 1+1+1+1+1 years. The assignment must start as soon as possible, but no later than 2026-10-15. Scope: Estimated occupancy rate 80 to 100 percent of annual working time.
